The 2-day Train-the-Trainer Educational Programme on micro-learningand on the development of mini-resources is provided by CARDET, as part of the Erasmus+ project SYNERGY, to all interested teachers andtutors working in the Vocational Education and Training sector, especially those who are interested in trainings to business owners and staff.
“SYNERGY is a European project dedicated to bringing together VET trainers and practitioners from across Europe, to explore the needs of business owners and through the use of innovative learning solutions create an online resource of rich learning and training materials”.
The aims and objectives of our proposed educational programme are:
- Deepen understanding and ability to apply pedagogical frameworks in the context of e-learning
- Create, nurture and grow a peer to peer teaching and learning community
- Provide an opportunity for you to initiate your own SYNERGY mini-learning resource
- Promote creativity and innovation in how training is designed and delivered
The Synergy Educational Programme is equivalent to Level 6 on the Irish National Qualifications Framework or Level 5 on the European Qualifications Framework, i.e. they refer to vocational and higher education and training qualifications. During this training session we will introduce you to the developed SYNERGY Trainer-the-Trainer Curriculum, theassociated workbooks and the Synergy Exchange Platform. Active and cooperative learning methods will be used such as working groups and panel discussions. The training will be delivered in Greek; however, material will be available in both Greek and English.
Upon completion of the Synergy Train-the-Trainer educational programme, each participant will be provided with:
- A Certificate of Participation accredited by CARDET
- Compensation for traveling (for participants traveling from regions outside Nicosia)
- Lunch at the end of each training day
The training will take place on Wednesday, 27 July and Thursday, 28 July 2016, both days from 10:00am to 01:00pm atCARDET offices (29 Lykavitou avenue [1st floor], 2401 Egkomi – Nicosia).
