June 28th- July 1st in Paris was happening European Youth Forum Academy. The academy had the theme “Empowering, Mobilizing and Connecting young people” and brought together more than 50 young people from across the whole Europe. The Vice president B’ Giorgos Polycarpou and the Secretary general of the Cyprus Youth Council Nicolas Christofi also participated in the event.

During the time of the academy several parallel workshops took place. Workshops were focused on different areas starting with internal communication, interests’ representation finishing with the implementation of sustainable development goals and youth participation. Moreover, participants presented campaigns and projects they are running in their respective organizations that gave a chance not only show to others the work they do but also share good practices and ideas among themselves.

Finally, participants attended thematic squares based on the pressing issues of their organizations to think collectively how to improve the situation for the young people via international cooperation.
