The 52nd Annual Conference of the The Girl Guides Association of Cyprus – Σώμα Κυπρίων Οδηγών took place on Saturday in Limassol.

The conference covered the topic of education, empowerment and impact.

President of the Association Marina Papadopoulou said that the topic was chosen to highlight the importance of non-formal education as a tool for the empowerment of girls and women and to raise awareness among the young members of the organisation around human rights and specifically women’s rights.

Cyprus Youth Council was represented by our President Antonis Kourras and our Vice President B’ Pambos Charalambous.
