Last Thursday (22/10), we met with DISY MP Demetris Demetriou.

We talked about a variety of different topics regarding youth in Cyprus, and more specifically about our strategic priorities and the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We discussed about:

• Ways to boost the participation of young people in decision-making processes
• Our candidacy (christianaxenofontos.com) in the upcoming elections of the European Youth Forum (20-22/11)
• The consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and how they affect the employment of young people, their social and labour rights and their mental health
• The strategic plan of CYC’s Board for 2020-2021
